Department Of Electronics & Communication
The Department of Electronics & Communication was started in the self-financing stream of the College in June 2008. It offers the 3-year programme B.Sc from the academic year 2008-09. The HOD of the Physics Department is also the HOD of the B.Sc Electronics & Communication programme.
Objectives & Mission:
- To design and update the curriculum, bearing in mind the relevance to regional and national requirements and expectations.
- To equip the students with the upto date knowledge in the chosen field.
- To impart quality education in the ever changing field of communication , enabling our students to confidently face the job market.
- To inculcate the spirit of scientific temper in the minds of the students.
Courses Offered:
TThe Dept of Electronics & Communication was established in the year 2008-09. It offers 3 –year B.Sc in Electronics & Communication.
Course Highlights:
The Department carefully adopted new approaches in curriculum planning. The revised syllabus under CBCS incorporates the study of basic core papers along with specialized papers. Laboratory work is given equal importance. The students have to undertake a project work in the fourth semester.
Laboratory:
The Laboratory of the department is well equipped with multiple instruments for regular class work and many research facilities.
Students Club:
The students are motivated to participate in various competitions to bring out their talents.
